Another Battle

There was chaos. She had signed up as a Rozzarian merc and like most other mercs was being paid well to fight in this battle. They were assualting an Arcadian outpost, and doing well with Leonna's leadership. Her black and red Command Wolf reacted to her ever move perfectly. She finished biting the neck circuits of an enemy zoid. She looked around and noticed she hadn't spent any ammo. Mission Successful. And no losses to boot. But then her sensors picked up another zoid. Seems like the mission wasnt done yet....

"Animals will always be animals, whether they be robots or not," Adrian said to himself as he and four Gloucester Knightmare Frames rolled through the dust, peering at the destroyed Arcadian Unit. "Seems we were late again...ah well. I guess it couldn't be helped." With that, he egged his Akatsuki-classed Knightmare Forwards, skidding onto the ground in front of the ENemy Zoid and raising an uneccesary cloud of dust.

A roar could be heard on the nearby cliff. A blue glint shown atop it. The blade liger was clearly visible if anyone had the opportunity to glance up. Though it had just arrived it was already ready for anything that might happen.

"Damn...I've gotten here too late..." the pilot said while looking at the battle field from above. He saw the same case in all of the downed zoids. "...bite marks to the neck area...a good pilot indeed..." he thought to himself as the organoid behind him peeked over his shoulder.

"I think well have fun Fenrir...finding out who did this..." Fenrir the organoid and the Blade Liger both roar in anticipation.

Adrian sighed as he saw the Scarlet triangular blip on his radar that showed the Emperor of Arcadia. Must he always get so hands on? Adrian asked himself as he opened up a video feed to Seraph. "Your Highness, I'm going to withdraw now in order to complete the creation of New Britannia on the Eastern Front. Happy Hunting, sir." Adrian shut the feed off as he transmitted his orders to the Gloucesters. What a Pity...maybe there'll be more quarry on the Eastern Front.

She looked at the Knightmares and laughed. 5 on 1. Not bad, not bad. Apparently the Arcadians had enlisted the help of the Brittanians. How wonderful, and then she picked up another signature on her sensory equipment. It was classified as a liger class zoid, though what kind she would probably have to find out later. She backed up slowly, knowing that such a mismatched fight could only lead to disaster. She had stayed behind, the other mercs were already making their way back. There would be no help from them.

Then the knightmares withdrew and she could hear the roar of the liger. She turned in the general direction and raced towards it, instead of falling back. Her mission was to eliminate all zoids in this area. And that was an enemy zoid.

"Well, looks like I have a fight on my hands."

Seraph shrugged off Adrians message. He knew that Adrian was going to colonize and expected that to be his top priority at the moment. He then glanced at his radar and saw the blip move towards his location.

"Battle time...Fenrir stay down till I need you..." he said to his organoid as he pushed the controls down and the Blade Liger began moving forward. Finally he saw the black and red Command Wolf.

"So...that was the zoid that did all this..." he smiled and hoped that this indeed would be a good fight. He pushed the controls further and the Blade liger sped up. Seraph pressed the button on his right hand controls and 2 warning shots were fired from his Dual Impact Cannon. He was only testing the Command Wolf's Pilot's reactions.

She saw the shots fired and smiled as she quickly jerked to the side, the shots destroying the ground where she had been the dust rising into the air. She plowed ahead going full speed, still holding her fire, waiting until she was 800 meters away before opening up with her 50mm cannons. She wasnt testing anything, she was trying to cause damage.

Seraph manuevered the blade liger to jump atop a cliff avoiding the shots from the command wolf.
"Shes pretty decent..." he thought while the blade liger landed and fired off two shots from his dual impact cannon before touching the ground once again. He then pulled the controls back and then to the side; the blades on the blades liger back extended forward to form his concealed laser armaments and he fired off two shots from them towards the command wolf. This time he aimed to cause damage.

"hmmm...lets see if she can dodge both attacks..." Fenrir was looking at the ensuing battle interested in whether he would have a turn or not. Seraph held his controls as he prepared his next actions carefully.

The dual impact cannon was not something she wanted to be hit with. She zig zagged avoiding the shot but seeing the lasers headed towards her without hesitating stopped the wolf from running long enough to gain leverage to jump over them. The stress from the manuever showed up on a blinking schematic of her wolf on her view screen, where it showed stress fractures to the front legs, and hydraulics leakage. This was not as flexible mech as she needed for her maneauvers but it all she had at the moment. She continued to make her way towards the blade liger, she would take her chances up close and personal.

Seraph saw the blip of the Command Wolf heading towards him. "Bad decision" he muttered as he himself moved his controls forward and went at top speed towards the oncoming Command Wolf. He shot too more shots from his Dual Impact Cannon mainly targeting the ground where the Command Wolf would run through. He didnt want to miss the shot completely but he knew very well that the last maneuver had been stressful on the zoid and that it probably would not be possible to dodge like that again, unless the pilot wanted the zoid to lose most of its moving capabilities and be reduced to a faster form of crawling.

As he closed in Seraph pulled the controls of the Blade Liger towards himself and then outward and extended the blades to the sides making it even harder for the Command Wolf.

"Shit", she said as the liger fired again. She knew she had to chance it and jumped in stride over the shots that had been aimed in front of her. It had been a lucky break as the Command Wolf burst through the dust of the impacted ground and continued running towards the liger as fast as she could, not slowing down, though she was fully concious of the fact that her front legs were cracked in several places. She saw the liger unfurl its blades and she cursed, knowing that attacking him would be quite hard up close. She drove on anyways, climbing the cliff.
