A small and fiesty Zoid, the Barigator hails from the earilest days of the Helic Republic. Though small in stature, Barigator is more than capable of putting up a fight. It's lack of height can make for an extremely difficult target to hit for taller Zoids, especially with non-rotatable armaments. More than anything, the Barigator is a very strategic Zoid and operates best in areas that are near bodies of water such as swamps or lakes. Like a real alligator, the hydraulic jaw opens slowly, but can close in a heartbeat and with enough force to shatter Zoid armor.

As is typical of most small, lightweight Zoids, the Barigator doesn't have much armor. However, it has excellent armor coverage, with no real weak spots. Although it's not really designed for melee combat, it can handle itself if needed; with the powerful jaw and the low profile, other Zoids will have trouble with it.

Weapons:
Dual 20mm Beam Cannons:
These forward-facing beam cannons are the Barigator's primary weapons. Although they can't be turned, seeing as they're mounted to the neck, they can be raised to some degree to hit targets that are higher up, and are semi-automatic.

Quad General Purpose Missiles:
Located on the Barigator's back are 4 general purpose missiles. Equivalent to a standard missile in power, these missiles have the advantage of being able to target both ground and Aerial Zoids. They are mounted on a turret, meaning they can be used against virtually any target.

Hydraulic Jaw:
Utilizing powerful hydraulics located on either side of the mouth, the Barigator can deliever a crushing snap. Like a real alligator, the hydraulic jaw opens slowly, but can close in a heartbeat and with enough force to shatter Zoid armor. However, the hydraulic system is located too close to the head to be attacked without risking diqualification under ZBC regulations.

Executing Special Abilities:
Swimming:
The Barigator is capable of swimming through swamps, lakes, and most other bodies of water, using its powerful tail to propel itself through the water at a very respectable 100 knots. Like a real alligator, it's also capable of maneuvering quite well underwater
